MY CHOREOGRAPHIES

QUADRI

"Quadri" is My 7th Choreography!

A museum rich in artful paintings that come to life at night and reveal their secret... This is why Da Vinci "Monolisa" smiles so unfathomably, because her lover will not be less than the sculpture "The Thinker" too, awaken and dance with her night after night. Monk’s Scream turns out to be a frozen look on the face of a frightened man who is afraid of the darkness in the museum and constantly screams until the light comes on again tomorrow, and the girl with the balloon grabs him in the hope their future may dance just as weightlessly.

HOW TO DANCE CONTEMPORARY 2.0

"How To Dance Contemporary2.0" is my 6th Choreography!

When I choreograph a piece by myself my main goal is to reach out to the audience, take them to another place and leave them at least with a tiny smile or laughter on their face, i created this piece in Theater Ulm and i thought to bring it back with a Real actor on stage with us, and some changes to elevate the piece even more.

That’s why in this piece I explain how to dance contemporary in 20 easy and funny steps.

THE ARENA

"The Arena" is My 5th Choreography!

The idea of my piece comes from the idea of being in an Arena.

Because unfortunately of fortunately we are being put under a constant spotlight in life. We are getting endlessly judged for who we are and the decisions we take. We are surrounded by people, similar to an arena, that are always ready to judge us and that make us feel like we are never good enough.

Based on that, I focused with my piece on three, maybe ‘bigger’ problems:

Our own self-confidence or how we see ourselves,

the problem of how people see homosexuality,

and the problem of women continuously fighting to be taken equally serious as men.

My Idea was to therefore use a ‘mirror’ with no actual glass, to present the different scenarios:

A girl is standing in front of it, pretty and skinny, but all she can see is a sad and unperfect women.

A gay couple is fighting because they can’t be who they are.

A man and a woman, both in a typically mans’ office-outfit, representing how woman should have the right to do the same, equal job!

Focusing on each single problem during the entire first part of the piece, And a big group section for the second one. One that shows the power of woman, that gay couples are not at all different to straight ones, and that no one should have the power to push you down for how you are or how you look. We are all beautiful the way we are!

For the end image I changed the no-glass-mirror into a real one, where the bullied girl can finally see herself the way she is.

THE ELEMENTS

"The Elements" is my 4th Choreography!

With “the elements” I wanted to show the many different sides of the forces of nature that surround us.

FIRE – aggression; rivalry; the crackle, the wince and lambency of the flames, heat,

Inharmoniousness, energy, passion, sexappeal…

Symbolised by 5 strong women

EARTH - Pas de Deux, Which symbolises the Connection and love Between Mankind and Earth.

AIR – mankind oldest dream; the dream of flying, to be agravic, to walk above the clouds…and the power that comes within.

WATER – the elixir of life and at the same time an element that is unbelievable strong and destructive. Gentle raindrops stand in contrast with strong waves. The audience gets drawn-in, elevated, pulled down and spit out. Dynamic…but dangerous.

FINAL – The Master of Elements in a fight to control each of them; has to surrender to the power of nature’s forces.

YIN & YANG

"Yin & Yang" is my 2nd Choreography!

With this choreography I wanted to display that there is no absolute thing. Everything in composed of contrasts: every human, every situation, simply everything carries its own opposite inside. And only if both is put together, by us accepting and embracing our inner conflict, something complete can arise and we can become one.

A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS

"A Penny For Your Thoughts" is My 1st Choreography!

The Idea of This Choreography Comes from a Real Story.

Everything Begin and End with a Memory, That Represent the Different Relationship that we Have in our Life, Like for Example The First Love, a Friendship and the Emotion that People have with a Person that is not With us Anymore!
